Flock to Skipton is a large-scale public art event – but with a difference!
The aim is to add another, high profile, reason for people to visit Skipton during the second half of 2010 – using an iconic Dales sculpture ... the Sheep!
The plan is to have over 25 larger-than-life sculptures – all colourfully painted with unique designs.
The sculptures will then be placed around the streets and landmarks of Skipton, providing a 'trail' for visitors to follow. The plan is to link part of it into a relaunch of Skipton's Millennium Walk which will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2010.
